The highest peak in Wayanad at just over 2,100 metres, famous for the heart-shaped lake that sits partway up the trail and never dries out. The trek passes through grassland and shola, with views across the Western Ghats from the top.
Tip: Permits are capped daily and the peak is sometimes closed for regeneration — check before travelling.
