One of the largest mosques in India, begun under Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah in 1614 and finished decades later by Aurangzeb. Its central arches were built with bricks made from soil brought from Mecca, and the courtyard holds the tombs of the Asaf Jahi rulers.
Tip: Dress modestly and avoid prayer times. It is a two-minute walk from Charminar.
