Do’s & Don’ts list for guest during COVID-19 Pandemic
Dear Guest,
Your safety and personal well-being has always been our top priority. Considering the current COVID-19 pandemic, we have designed a set of guidelines, keeping in mind, your health, safety, and security needs, and would be grateful if you could spare a minute and familiarize yourself with the same:
- GUESTS should follow the instructions of the hotel while staying at the Hotel
- Always keep a safe distance of at least 2 m (6 ft.) While you are at the property.
- Guests should frequently use hand sanitizers, which we have placed in convenient locations throughout our property.
- Please follow safe hand washing hygiene practices. Wash hand frequently with soap and water for at least 40-60 seconds, even when hands are not visibly dirty, to eliminate the risk of infection.
- Always practice good respiratory hygiene. Please cover your mouth with your arms or tissue or hand kerchief, should you need to cough or sneeze. Dispose/ throw used tissue in garbage bag/ trash can only.
- Persons above 65 years of age, persons with comorbidities, pregnant women and children below the age of 10 years are advised to stay at home, except for essential and health purposes.
- Please inform the staff in case of any illness symptoms. We will take necessary measures to your safety and the safety of your fellow guests.
- Guests should self-monitor your health and report any illness at the earliest to state and district helpline.
- Spitting shall be strictly prohibited.
- Linen will be changed as per your request during your stay.
- Guest are requested to stay in the nearby lobby area at the time of guestroom cleaning and avoid touching anything.
- Guest should use video call with staff for any repair & maintenance issues.
- Doors should be kept closed and any contact with the door knobs should be avoided
- Put all disposable plates/cups/bottles after use in the garbage bag.
- Guest should use telephone for any requests and avoid frequent visit to reception.
- Do not step out of the room unnecessarily. Wear a mask is mandatory, whenever you are outside your room.
- In case you do not have a face mask please contact hotel staff or buy from the nearest store.
- Avoid excessively touching your face and eyes.
- Avoid groups of 3 or more persons as this could impede the efforts of the staff.
- Do not try and contravene the guidelines laid down by hotel/resort staff.
- Avoid sneezing or coughing in the direction of any other guests or staff.
- No visitors should be allowed in the guest rooms.
- In case a balcony is shared with another room, please be on the side of your room and maintain social distancing.
- Guests are advised to not visit areas falling with in containment zone.

- If the person affected is a guest of the tourism accommodation establishment, continued stay of the sick person in the establishment is not recommended. The person should be isolated in a room on a temporary basis until the intervention of local health authorities, and provided the room is not shared with other guests. No visitors should be permitted to enter the room occupied by the affected guest. According to hotel terms and policy charges will apply for the same.
- The sick person should not receive visitors, or if they do, visits should be limited to what is strictly necessary. The guest should receive food in the room. Sick persons should not share a bathroom with other persons, and neither should they share towels, blankets, or any type of clothing with their caretakers.
- Caretakers must adopt strict precautionary measures, including wearing PPE, whenever they come close to or has direct contact with the sick person. The room should then be organized to allow for proper dressing of PPE and, in a separate area, for disposal of used/contaminated PPE. The doctor in charge of the case should provide relatives and accompanying persons with information regarding the infection control measures they should adopt. Only one person should be in charge of caring for the sick person.
- Pregnant women or other persons with high risk of developing severe disease caused by COVID-19 should not serve as caretakers.
- Caretakers should self-monitor for the appearance of symptoms, especially fever and cough, and receive medical attention if such symptoms appear.
- If the severity of the symptoms or numerous movements of the case(s) indicate more extensive exposure in the establishment, a more thorough assessment should be done together with the local health authorities. WHO recommends that all contacts of COVID19 patients be quarantined for 14 days from the last time they were exposed to the patient.
- If a contact develops symptoms, the contact should wear a medical mask, considered as suspect case, and treated as such. Other guest and staff who do not meet the definition of a contact may be considered as having low-risk exposure and may be advised to implement precautionary measures. These precautionary measures can be modified and adapted to the risk assessments conducted by the public health authorities.
- Non-affected guests are persons considered to have had a low-risk exposure. They should self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms, including fever, cough, or difficulty breathing for 14 days from the date of departure of the confirmed case from the establishment. Should they develop symptoms indicative of COVID-19 within 14 days, they should be taken immediately self-isolate and contact local health services.
