Day-wise itinerary
Day 1 — Ooty town & gardens
Enjoy Ooty Lake with boating, the colourful Government Botanical Garden and Rose Garden, and the historic St. Stephen’s Church.
Day 2 — Toy train, Doddabetta & tea
Ride the Nilgiri Mountain Railway toy train, then up to Doddabetta Peak and the Tea Factory & Museum.
Day 3 — Pykara Falls & Lake
Visit the scenic Pykara Falls and Pykara Lake with a boat ride amid the shola forests and grasslands.
Day 4 — Avalanche & Emerald Lake
A full day amid pristine nature at Avalanche Lake and the tranquil Emerald Lake, deep in the Nilgiri valleys.
Day 5 — Leisure & local sightseeing
A relaxed day for tea-estate walks, local markets and homemade chocolates, or revisit your favourite viewpoints at an easy pace.
