The spot where the Kodagu kings came to watch the sunset, now a small garden with a viewing pavilion looking out over layers of hills and valleys filled with mist. Still the best sunset in Madikeri, and busiest right before dusk.
Tip: Arrive at least half an hour before sunset to get a place at the front railing.
