Did you ever wonder where all those beautiful landscapes were selected for film shootings? Well, only few of them are natural sceneries while most of the shoots are inside the sets of a studio. And one of such studios is this Ramoji Film City. It is called a city because the place is really that large like a mini city in itself with almost every kind of set for shootings.

At a stretch of about 2000 acres, this is the largest studio in the world. Yes, it competes with none other than Hollywood. Set up in the year 1996, it also has a Guinness world record in its bosom.

This facility does not restrict itself to artificial sets, but also has numerous natural settings too for shooting any kind of genre. It does not come as a surprise to say that Ramoji Film City brings in great tourism revenue when we know that about 1.4 million tourists are drawn to this city just to visit Ramoji.

There is an amusement park, which is an attraction for kids and younger visitors. Alongside is a recreational center that not only attracts tourists, but even the locals prefer to go and spend a few days there during weekends and special occasions so as to have some relaxation away from the chaos of the city lights and noise and still have a great lifestyle just like at home.

Mughal :The very famous movie Mughal-e-azam set was replicated here and it is cherished by one and all that are interested in Indian Royal History. The Mughal time architecture is depicted with intricate carvings which are worth a see.

Santuary Garden: Almost all the wild and domestic animals are found here sculpted in the Grass that are useful for movie shootings.

Japanese: The famous Pagodas found in this set is called as the Japanese Garden of Ramoji with its exquisite detailing.

Bhagavatam:This set was built exclusively to shoot a serial that is based on Hindu mythologies. It was a huge hit as long as the serial was played through a ten year period.

Aksari:This is a Garden which has many layers to it that showcases how beautiful nature can be even at an artificial setting. Though there are many gardens within the filmcity, this is the first of them all.

Princess Street: If there is ever an international cityscape to go about and have a look at while having fun around, it is here at Prince Street.

Caves: These Caves are not limited to be just as a fancy movie set but they have a unique way of showcasing the rich culture and mythical heritage starting from the Famous Bodhisatva to the Kalinga stories. This piece of art must be visited for the enchanted experience it gives you.

Fountain: There are two fountain places here of which one is called as Angel’s Fountain and the other is Sun Fountain Garden. The Chariot with horses which is wonderful and the beautiful angel like fountain are both very relaxing.

Bird Park :
