Established in 1892, Mysore Zoo is among the oldest and best-maintained in India — mature parkland with large, naturalistic enclosures housing elephants, big cats, giraffes, gorillas and an extensive bird collection.
Tip: Allow two to three hours — it is far larger than it looks from the entrance.
