Modelled on England’s Windsor Castle, Bangalore Palace is a Tudor-revival mansion of turrets, arches and carved wood, still owned by the Wodeyar family. The audio-guided tour through its ornate halls and portrait galleries is one of the city’s better heritage experiences.
Tip: take the audio guide — the palace’s history is far more interesting than the rooms alone suggest.
